The second lockdown is demanding an enormous amount from all of us. We don't even know whether it will have a lasting effect, or whether the next explosion of infections awaits during the holiday season. It is a terrible time — for tourism, gastronomy and hospitality, but also for retail and other industries. And yet there is a glimmer of hope: the vaccines will arrive sooner than expected and will normalise life again. The big question is: when? When can we go out and really enjoy ourselves again? When can we travel? When can we invite friends over and go to events? The longing for all of this is enormous. But one thing is certain: 2021 will bring the comeback, and 2022 we will again do carefree all the things that make our life so wonderful. Until then, Falstaff will accompany you with ideas, dreams and good tips. Also in this issue: after ten years we have finally become market leader in Germany too, overtaking our long-standing strongest competitor 'Der Feinschmecker' in every respect. And from 2021 Falstaff will also be available in English and worldwide. We promise: 2021 will be better, and 2022 will be extraordinary!
